New Members

Are you interested in becoming a member of our sorority? Kappa Delta participates in Formal Membership Recruitment in the  Spring semester; and in some Fall semesters, Continuous Open Bidding, which is a more informal process for upperclassmen only during which a sorority may fill any number of open spots to reach a predetermined total as mandated by Cornell's Panhellenic Council.

Exactly what does Recruitment involve? Informal Recruitment means dinners, social events, and other casual activities with current sisters. In the Spring, Recruitment means thirty-two parties in five days, lots of snow, and mug upon mug of hot chocolate. It also means a once-in-a-lifetime experience and possibly over a hundred new sisters to call yours when the week is through. At Kappa Delta, our sisters have formed lifelong friendships and found a place to call home. If sisterhood sounds good to you, go Greek- you won't regret it!
