January 27, 2009

After a week of Formal Recruitment, Kappa Delta Omega Chi Chapter welcomed 58 new members! Bid Night 2010, themed "Kappa Delta's Golden Ticket", began at Day Hall, where each new member was greeted by her diamond sister. The evening progressed to the Kappa Delta house and then to Helen Newman Bowling Lanes, where sisters and new members had fun bowling and bonding. It is going to be a busy semester getting to know all of these wonderful women!

Everyone's back from break at Kappa Delta and the house is buzzing with excitement. With only three days until  the start of Formal Recruitment, Kappa Delta sisters are anxious to meet their potential new members.

Woah, where did the semester go? The leaves have pretty much fallen (though today's 65 in Ithaca...practically summer) and it's almost time for dreaded finals, but we've still got a lot of fun activities coming up. Mark your calendars for the 2nd annual KD's Shamrock Showdown of Pop Culture on December 7, 7-9 at the Statler.

This year, teams will go head-to-head at the start of the showdown, competing against each other in multiple rounds of "fastest finger" style questions and vying for a spot onstage. Each team of four needs to bring an iClicker to the event!
